The trumpet is my major instrument. Though I am not a professional player, I do enjoy performing occasionally. Recently I acquired also an antique French valve trombone which I am now learning to play. It does provide some variety. Even more recently I acquired a slide trumpet (or soprano trombone) which I am learning to play. Adjusting to a slide is a challenge!
