For at least the last twenty-five years I have been a hobbyist beekeeper. There's nothing as sweet as honey produced by one's own bees except, of course, God's Word. 1998 was an average year. Probably the heat and drought of July and August contributed here. But we were thankful to extract ninety-five pounds of the sweet stuff. The only negative was a small accident in which I gashed my hand with the uncapping knife. I discovered there is still blood inside me. I've been more careful since.
